Precision in the process chain

The repeatability of position in process chain is a main criterion for the selection of a reference system. The repetitive accuracy (same pallet on same fixture) is about 2 µm for standard reference systems. The changing accuracy (same pallet on various fixtures) is 8 - 15 µm.
This is sufficient for many manufacturing processes, but no more acceptable in manufacturing high-precise small parts. In this case tolerances of < 5 µm are required.
With standard reference systems in process chain (from machine to (measuring) machine) the maximum permissable tolerance is reached or exceeded already with rechucking though no defect in manufacturing is evident.

High-precise HIRSCHMANN Reference System µ-PrisFix nano guarantees repetitive accuracy of of ≤ 0.1µm (same clamper) and a changing accuracy (from clamper to an other clamper) of ≤ 0.5µm.

The accuracy was tested and confirmed by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig. We will gladly send you the test report on request.

Application

The Reference System µ-PrisFixnano, completely made of rust-proof materials, is a high-precise mini clamping system for applications in small parts production. Repetitive accuracy in process chain (machine to machine) of ≤ 0.5 µm guarantees solid and repeatable manufacturing processes. The patented reference system is used for metal cutting (milling, turning, grinding) and nonmetal cutting (eroding, lasing) operations and for measuring.

Completely made of rust-proof materials. Tension by spring force, release with compressed air. Protected against pollution by seal and integrated cleaning "CenterClean". Loading control through measuring of differential pressure.
